12-man squad for Zim practice match named

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) today announced a 12-member BCB XI squad for the three-day practice match against Zimbabwe scheduled for October 29-31.

Pacer Ebadat Hossain, who picked up five wickets in the warm-up game against Zimbabwe prior to the ODI series, was named in the squad alongside pacers Rubel Hossain, Shahadat Hossain and Abu Hider. Young Nazmul Hossain, Afif Hossain, Mosaddek Hossain were also included in the side.

The match will take place at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury stadium in Chattogram ahead of the first of the two-match Test series starting from November 3 at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium. The visitors will lock horns in the second Test from November 11 at the Sher-e-Bangla national stadium in Mirpur.
