'Hard to describe emotions in words', says Mushy

Bangladesh cricketer Mushfiqur Rahim became a father yesterday and the cricketer found it difficult to describe the joyful emotions he was experiencing following the birth of his son.

The cricketer became a father for the first time after his wife gave birth at the city's square hospital yesterday morning. Asked about what he was feeling, Mushfiqur said: "It feels good but it is hard to explain in words what I am feeling."

He also asked for prayers for his new-born son and his wife Jannatul Kifayet. "Please pray for my wife and son so that they remain healthy and well," the cricketer said.

The cricketer suggested that they have not decided on a name for their son. "We are still a bit confused regarding the name but we will decide on a name within the next seven days.
