Mushfiq urges people to help out flood victims

Bangladesh Test captain Mushfiqur Rahim urged people to help out flood victims in a facebook live event today.

The cricketer addressed the audience in a somber mood and greeted them saying : "I have come infront of you today with a lot of pain, hope and an appeeal for help."

Mushfiq vowed to stand beside the flood victims who are in a desperate state due to the 'perilous situation'.

He requested the audience to keep lending a helping hand as more help is needed.

"You can help out financially or with flood relief or in any way you can but please stand beside the people in crisis," Mushfiq said.

He highlighted the suffering of people from the north of Bangladesh and described their plight as being 'very very bad'.

He hoped that the audience will atleast pray for the people affected by flood even if they are not able to help out through donations or relief supplies.

He hoped the flood situation will be resolved soon so that the victims can return to leading a normal life.
