ASM Ali Kabir no more

President of Bangladesh Athletics Federation and chairman of River Protection Commission ASM Ali Kabir passed away on Monday night at a hospital in Dhaka.

He was being treated at the hospital for various ailments for about a month.

He was 70.

The former secretary of Bangladesh government won national sports award as a sports organiser. 

His namaz-e-Janaza will be held at the Baitul Aman Jaam-e-Masjid in Dhanmondi today before burial at the Mirpur Martyrs' Graveyard.
