Ashraful's 4 goals stun India

Penalty corner specialist Ashraful Islam scored four goals as Bangladesh beat favourites India 5-4 in their first Pool A match of the Bronco U-18 Asia Cup at the Maulana Bhasani Hockey Stadium today.

Ashraful scored all four goals from penalty corners as Bangladesh converted half of their chances with drag-and-flick.

Faze Rabbi scored the other goal for Bangladesh. Indians failed to score any goal from penalty corners, but scored one from penalty stroke and three others from open play.

Bangladesh will take on Oman in their final Pool A match on Tuesday.
