Another victim dies, death toll now 23

Another victim of the Siddikbazar tragedy succumbed to his injuries at the Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery today.

Mirza Azam, who was undergoing treatment at the institute with 80 percent burns, died around 9:30am, Samanta Lal Sen, chief coordinator of the hospital, told The Daily Star.

The details of the victim could not be known immediately.

With the latest death, 23 people were killed and more than 100 injured in the blast in the capital's Gulistan on Tuesday.
