Rings of Saturn are now visible from Bangladesh more clearly than ever.

Due to the planet being at its closest point to Earth and for the position of Earth being right between Sun and Saturn during this time of the year, the rings of Saturn can be observed by the sky grazers of Bangladesh at the night sky.

Unlike other times, the Saturn is more clearly visible during the last week of June this year, Dr. Amanul Islam, central member of the volunteer-based science organisation Anushandhitshu Chokro, told The Daily Star.

As June 27th is the day of the Saturn Opposition, the planet will be much closer to earth and exactly opposite the sun allowing more visibility, Dr. Amanul added.

To facilitate the view, Anushandhitshu Chokro, has been organising observation camps at various places of the country throughout the week, according to a press release from the volunteer-based science organisation.

In line with the proceedings, they have organsied a observatory camp at the campus of Rajshahi University of Science and Technology (RUET) today at the day of Saturn Opposition.

People of all walks of life will be able to witness the Saturn's rings with the help of telescopes from 8:00pm there, read the press release.
