Jakarta celebrates country’s first MRT line: 5 public opinions

Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia, finally has its own MRT (mass rapid transit) now, which is something to celebrate after a decades-long wait.

Thousands of passengers have enjoyed the recent trial runs. The Jakarta Post has the opportunity to ask the public about their impressions of this latest service, which marks a new era for urban transportation.
