Siddikur's plight goes on

Siddikur Rahman maintained his poor performance at the Resorts World Manila Masters' last round when the Bangladesh premier golfer played two-over-par 74 in the first round of the King's Cup at the Singha Park Khon Kaen Golf Club in Thailand yesterday.

Having finished 52nd in the Manila Masters following eight bogeys in the last round, the two-time Asian Tour winner started the day with a bogey on the first hole and again on the 16th hole to finish joint 111th at the end of the first round, while Indian duo SSP Chowrasia and Anirban Lahiri played equal six-under-par 65 to stay at the top of the leader-board.
