The Icon Takes His Final Breath

The famous Bangladeshi film actor Mizu Ahmed passed away on 27th March, at around 8:00 pm. He was aboard a train near the Airport Railway Station when he had a heart attack. He was on his way to Dinajpur to shoot the film “Manush O Omanush”, as said by the director Ahmed Ilias Bhuiyan.

He was born in 1972, at Kushtia. He became involved with acting by joining a local theatre group.

He made his debut in 1978 with the film “Trishna”. Soon after he had established himself as a leading villain role in the Bangladeshi film industry. He has acted in movies such as “Hangor Nodi Grenade (1997)”, “Bostir Chele Kotipoti (2010)” and “Traas” for which he won the ‘National Award for the Best Supporting Actor’ in 1992. He had also been producing movies under his own banner, Friends Movies.
