Celebrating Life's CD and Book Launch Ceremony Held

Celebrating Life, organized by The Daily Star and supported by Standard Chartered Bank, has held its CD and Book Launch on the 15th of April, 2015. The event was held at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel and was attended by many of brightest stars of the Bangladeshi media. The program was conducted by Shohidul Alam Sachchu. Speeches were given by Asaduzzaman Noor, Cultural Minister, Abrar Anwar, CEO of Standard Chartered Bank, Bitopi Das Chowdhury, Head of Corporate Affairs, Standard Chartered Bank, and Mahfuz Anam, Editor of The Daily Star. This event was also special as this marked the 7th year since Celebrating Life was first created and in light of that, a special collector's item CD was launched which contains all the songs for Celebrating Life spanning the last 7 years. The event was concluded with a brilliant performance by Armeen Musa and her choir group which was loved by both the press and the audience. This year's Celebrating Life is already in full swing, with the theme being “Celebrating The Heritage of Bangladesh”.
