We get to see Samina Chowdhury with a lot of heavy makeup and gaudy sarees on shows or in concerts, and that is actually nothing like her personality. She is, in fact, a very simple person both inside and out. Just like her personality, she has a very effortless skin care regime. She is a big fan of natural and herbal products. Therefore, she likes to use DIY facemasks a lot. She also likes to apply coconut oil on her face. It helps to keep her skin soft and smooth. One of the main reasons behind using herbal products is her humility. She believes it is important to be humble and not depend on expensive brands, and that it is best to rely on the things around her. For her hair care regime, she doesn't really do much except occasionally applying oil.

Although she is not big on brands, one product she loves a lot is perfume by Coco Chanel. She says that amongst all kinds of makeup and accessories, perfume is the only thing she is a big fan of. However, when it comes to accessories, the two things she really likes are earrings and rings. She makes sure to always have them on her as a part of her style statement. Samina Chowdhury isn't a fan of following new trends every season. She tries to create looks that make her feel comfortable and go with her personality. Although we get to see her wearing colorful sarees on shows, she in reality likes fluorescent colors, with black being her favorite. However, according to Samina Chowdhury, even though she has to wear a lot of sarees during shows, sarees do not come with ease to her. She rather prefers to wear kurtis and long shirts with a comfortable pair of pants or a skirt, and drape a stylish scarf around her neck.
