Prosenjit Chatterjee on Jaya

I would consider myself to be a little unfortunate not to have been able to share the silver screen with Jaya Ahsan. I have been a huge admirer of her work ever since I saw Guerilla when it was screened in Nandan Film Centre. That was quite a few years ago. After that, I've had a chance to meet her in person and got to know her. As an actor, she has my respect and as a person I adore her a lot. I was recently floored by her performance in Bhalobashar Shohor, and her performance in Bishorjon was absolutely amazing. I have seen a lot of her telefilms, serials and other work that she does in Bangladesh and can assure you that she is an actor of the highest pedigree. She is certainly an asset for both Bangladesh and Kolkata's film industry. I am extremely proud of her, and really wish to do a proper film with her soon.
