Pooja Sengupta

What is your style mantra?
I don’t have a certain style mantra. I like being myself and choose outfits which showcase my personality.
Who is your favourite style icon in Hollywood?
My favourite style icon is definitely Jennifer Lopez.
Who are your favourite fashion designers?
I have quite a few favourites. A few of them are Domenico Dolce, Stefano Gabbana , Anita Dongre , Bibi Russel and Manish Arora.
What is your regular everyday wear like?
For everyday attire, I usually opt for long kurtis, tunics, t-shirts and harem pants.
What is your general party wear like?
I love wearing muslin sarees, Rajshahi silk, designer anarkali and fusion gowns when I go to parties or events.
What are your favourite accessories?
I find bangles with precious and semi precious stones very beautiful. I also like wearing pearls. Other than that, I would say clutch and tribal jewellery are a few of my favourite accessories.
What is a must have in your wardrobe?
Pure cotton wear is definitely a must have for me.
What fashion trend do you dislike?
I find it unattractive when people wear artificial lenses with really bright colours.
What fashion trend would you say is your favourite?
I love the mermaid curl trend.
What would be a fashion message you would like to give to the readers?
I would request everyone to wear clothes that make them feel comfortable, rather than being influenced by different trends.
