Plot: It is about a journey of a spaceship named "The Starship Avalon" which is carrying 5000 passengers and 258 crews to a distant planet for a new re-habitation. Something went wrong during the trip and it woke up a passenger, namely James Preston. He is awakened almost a century earlier than the scheduled time. After passing roughly one year in loneliness, Jim trips on an empty bottle one day and falls at the foot of a pod inhabited by a woman named Aurora Lane. He becomes obsessed with her and decides to break her pod, condemning her to the same fate. As Jim and Aurora start living the rest of their lives onboard with all the luxury they could ever ask for, they grow slowly aware that the ship is in grave danger.

Review: The movie is directed by Morten Tyldum, the director of "The Imitation Game". The screenplay of the movie is not as good as it expected to be. It has a few plot holes and the ending is too dramatic. Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt performed brilliantly as always. Sadly, the movie turned out to be a typical romantic film. It could have gone in depth regarding the technical and scientific issues instead of focusing so much on loneliness and love. The best thing about this film is the visual effects. They might get awards for it. But as far as science fictions go, this movie is average at best.
