Weakness: Plot

PLOT: Shurjo (Jeet) is the 'bhai' of his area in Mumbai. Just like Robin Hood, this 'bhai' wants to help out the poor people. He plans to build the "Shurjo Foundation" in order to help the poverty-stricken but needs a lot of money to do so. Renowned businessman of Bangladesh, Shahnewaz (Amit Hasan), agrees to donate a certain sum at first but after the murder of the minister of that area, he goes in hiding. Desolate Shurjo then decides to raise the money from the local people but some of his close friends betray him and run away with that money. However, everyone believes that Shurjo stole the money. The story then continues with how Shurjo proves his innocence and realizes his dreams.

REVIEW: Throughout the entire film, Jeet has a very strong presence on-screen whether it was fighting the bad guys or having an emotional talk with his close ones. Jeet knows how to engross the audience and managed to accomplish so with his commendable acting. Shubhasree, despite being one of the lead actresses of the film, has very little screen-time. But the time we do see her, she acts quite well. She had nice chemistry with Jeet which made the film more entertaining. Nusraat Faria comes into the picture after the intermission with the much talked-about song Yaara Meherban. The story of the film certainly isn't anything new, which takes away a lot of the entertainment value. Nonetheless, it's a fun watch despite the shortcomings.
