Kohli, Anushka to get engaged on Jan 1?

Days after news of Indian Test skipper Virat Kohli and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma spending New Years’ Eve together in Dehradun arrived, speculations over their ‘imminent’ engagement on January 1 have set the internet on fire.

Moreover, high profile guests have reportedly arrived of in Dehradun fuelling the speculations, reports Zee News.

The ceremony is likely to be held at Hotel Ananda in Narendra Nagar of Uttarakhand.

The speculations over the couple’s engagement emerged after high profile guests, including megastar Amitabh Bachchan and industrialist Anil Ambani, reportedly arrived at the state where the two have been vacationing, Zee News reports quoting Pradesh18, a local news channel.

However, no official statement has been sent out by the couple.

Earlier, Anushka and Virat shared some glimpses from their vacations in the social media.

Then, they were seen together in a photo with a priest.

The report further claimed that Anushka’s close friends and family members are already staying at the venue.

Preparations for the big day have also started already, it added.
