Shah Rukh Khan receives a humanitarian award!

Last week on the launching event of World Economic Forum hosted in the Swiss Alps, everyone's favorite Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan was honored with the Crystal Award, which recognized his constant support for the rights of victimized women and children. Shah Rukh Khan's funded organization, The Meer Foundation, is a special treatment facility for women who underwent acid attacks; providing the victims with not only medical support but a safe shelter as well. The award emphasized on the commendable work The Meet Foundation has done thus far, and upon receiving the award, Shah Rukh Khan claimed he was humbled and inspired to do better work in the future. Shah Rukh Khan is also known for creating special help centers for unprivileged and sick children all across India.
