Ranbir Kapoor to co-produce the sequel to “Life in a Metro”

Ranbir Kapoor will join director Anurag Basu's "Life in a Metro" sequel as a producer. The director mentioned that he might me playing a pivotal role in the film other than co-producing it. The full cast of the film is yet to be selected except for Irrfan Khan who has been announced to take part in the film earlier this year. The original film narrated the journey of several lives trapped amid complicated, urban relationships and included stars Shilpa Shetty, Dharmendra, Shiney Ahuja, Konkona Sen Sharma, Nafisa Ali among others. 

Ranbir Kapoor and Anurag Basu are currently working together in "Jagga Jasoos", which stars Ranbir's ex-girlfriend Katrina Kaif alongside him.
