PENT-UP Excitement for Penty’s Debut

Diana Penty attended the 72nd Cannes Film Festival for the first time last month. Although she had been invited in the past, prior engagements have always prevented her debut appearence. Her long-awaited arrival astounded the crowds on the red carpet, as she made her debut in beige couture and fabulous faux feather. No Indian films made it into the competition, but Penty was a flying contender on the fashion front. On the second day, she donned a bold ivory saree by Amit Aggarwal. She not only boasted elegance, but proudly represented the Indian film industry. She describes her time in the French Riviera as a "surreal experience," and is already eager to go back next year.
