Lady Gaga discontent upon not winning Best Actress at ‘Golden Globe Awards’

Lady Gaga received significant praise for her role in A Star Is Born, but despite that she did not win the Golden Globe for Best Actress. She was reportedly quite unhappy as she had expected to receive the award. A source said, "She had her acceptance speech ready and written and rehearsed and was certain that she was going to come home with several awards". Many of her fans had also expected her to win the prestigious title, but it was finally given to Glenn Close for her performance in The Wife. Lady Gaga, however, was awarded a Golden Globe for the best original song for her track, Shallow. A picture she posted on Instagram with her award made it clear that the singer, despite not having won the biggest award, was happy to have taken home another Golden Globe to add to her collection.
