Gulzar’s new film

Fans of poet, lyricist and director Gulzar will finally be able to watch his unreleased film from 1988, Libaas, which will be released as a tribute to him on his 83rd birthday. The film, which has been based on the short story, Seema, written by the director himself, will star actors such as Naseeruddin Shah, Shabana Azmi, Raj Babbar, Sushma Seth, Utpal Dutt, Annu Kapoor and Savita Bajaj. Amul Vikas Mohan and Anshul Vikas Mohan will be completing their father, Vikas Mohan's unfinished project by producing the film. Libaas tells the story of a theatre director and his wife, an actor, whose lives seem to be perfect to the media, but is quite different in reality. The film, which is to be released at the end of this year, will be distributed by Zee Studios.
