Ben Affleck to star in WWII movie

Award winning Hollywood actor Ben Affleck has been roped in to star in and direct a true World War II story titled Ghost Army. The Universal Pictures venture is based on a documentary Ghost Army, and the book The Ghost Army of World War II, written by Rick Beyer and Elizabeth Sayles. The script has been written by True Detective's creator Nic Pizzolatto.

Affleck's previous directorial projects include, Live by Night, a gangster drama set in the Prohibition era, which was released in 2016, and the 2012 flick Argo, which won the Oscar in the Best Picture

category.
