Morgan Freeman's public apology

Respected and loved by fans of all generations, Morgan Freeman is an irreplaceable part of Hollywood. Having performed in a multitude of award-winning films and being a well-revered actor of both the past and the present, there is no reason to ever be antagonistic towards this man. However, to everyone's wildest astonishment, Morgan Freeman was recently accused of being a sex offender. These allegations were made by a number of female actors who worked alongside the respected actor over the years, as well as a journalist who helped make these allegations public. In response, Morgan Freeman issued a public apology, stating that it was never his intent to disrespect or cause discomfort to anyone. "Anyone who knows me or has worked with me knows I am not someone like that," he stated, "I am not someone who would knowingly make someone uneasy, or intentionally offend an individual." Freeman made it clear that he has never committed any sort of sexual harassment, so perhaps our better judgment will make us think this was only a case of misinterpretation and nothing too serious. We can only hope.
