Kangana Ranaut to star in “Jhansi Ki Rani”

"Queen" star Kangana Ranaut will be playing the famous role of "Rani Lakshmibai" in Ketan Mehta's biopic "Jhansi Ki Rani".  According to the director, the movie will be internationally co-produced with international crew and cast. The director plans on shooting the movie at Jhansi, Varanasi, and Gwalior and some studios.  

"Tanu Weds Manu" star will be seen horse-riding and sword-fighting in the film, for which she will start training soon.  The actress mentioned that once she starts shooting for this film, she would not sign another film until mid next year. 

The actress has previously received three national awards for her performance as Best Supporting Actress for "Fashion", Best Actress for "Queen" and "Tanu Weds Manu Returns".
