James Gunn Fired from 'Guardians of the Galaxy 3'

In a shocking turn of events, Disney has fired director James Gunn from the third installment of the Guardians of the Galaxy films. The reason for this seems to be due to some controversial tweets made by the filmmaker joking about pedophilia and rape. This all started two days ago when Gunn inserted himself in the whole Mark Duplass/Ben Shapiro Twitter debacle. As everyone started piling on Duplass for his tweet endorsing conservative pundit Shapiro, Gunn stepped in and tweeted his support for Duplass, while also condemning Shapiro in the process. As you might imagine, this angered liberal-minded people who didn't think it was a good look for Gunn to support Duplass at the time, and conservative folks who didn't like one of their own getting insulted. To follow this up, Gunn went on a Twitter tirade against President Donald Trump about the Russia investigation. The conservative supporters then took a deep look into Gunn's twitter account and uncovered the decade old tweets. Gunn was deep into pre-production of Guardians of the Galaxy 3. Reports had previously said the film was going to start production in 2019. After this, only one question remains, what's next for the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise?
