Gotham Season 2 Trailer: The Rise of the Joker

Season 1 of Gotham definitely had its share of ups and downs, but the best part was seeing many of the classic Batman villains come to life in brand new origin stories. But the war for Gotham City is far from over.

Show runner Bruno Heller recently revealed at Comic-Con that season 2 will be "the rise of the villains" as Gotham "starts to decline into chaos." It looks like Detective Jim Gordon and Captain Essen's "new day" after the fall of Fish Mooney and Falcone  will not last very long.

Season 2 will also be the rise of the Joker as Heller promised to find out how the hell Jerome, the proto-Joker we met earlier in this season, connects with the Joker as people known him.
