Fantastic Beasts & Where to Find Them officially Begins Production

Warner Bros. has officially announced the beginning of filming for "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them", the first installment of the next franchise based on J.K. Rowling's original novels. The star-studded cast sounds like something out of a fangirl's dream: Eddie Redmayne leads the cast as Scamander himself, with Katherine Waterston as Tina, Alison Sudol as Tina's sister Queenie, Dan Fogler as Jacob, Ezra Miller as Credence and Colin Farrell as Graves. Along with Rowling, Harry Potter veterans David Yates and David Heyman will be involved, with Yates directing and Keyman serving as co-producer, alongside Rowling, Steve Kloves, and Lionel Wigram.

"Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" hits theaters in 2016.
