Carrie Underwood's grand return

After a five-month hiatus due to an unfortunate accident, Carrie Underwood has returned to the world of music in a glorious fashion at the 53rd iteration of the annual Academy of Country Music (ACM) Awards event. Hosted at Las Vegas's MGM Grand Garden Arena on 15th April, the 2018 ACM Awards was a night filled with festivity and flair. Much of the flair came from Carrie Underwood's stunning performance of her latest single Cry Pretty, which was an instant hit among the audience. Fans all around the world fell in love with her once again as she established herself as a premier country singer of this time with this grand return. What's more, she was also awarded the "Vocal Event of the Year" Award alongside Keith Urban for their song The Fighter. Carrie Underwood has certainly shut down any critics with this comeback, showing that even a long break couldn't slow her down.
