Brendan Fraser's sex allegations!

Brendan Fraser, the Canadian-American actor well-known for starring in George of the Jungle (1997), Journey to the Center of the Earth (2008) and The Mummy trilogy (1999, 2001 & 2008), has recently stated in an interview that he was a victim of sexual assault. He has pinpointed Philip Berk, former president of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA), to have "inappropriately groped" him in public and apparently humiliating him in secrecy.

 The HFPA, the host for the Golden Globes, comprises of esteemed journalists, photographers and critics who strongly stand against sexual misconduct, especially in Hollywood. Regarding Fraser's claims, the HFPA has stated that they have begun an investigation into the matter, the results of which are still unconfirmed. If the claims do turn out to be true, we could be seeing the Golden Globes themselves being painted in a new light!
