Bollywood a good phase for artists now, says Irrfan Khan

Actor Irrfan Khan is enjoying the current phase of the Hindi film industry as he feels it is offering opportunities to artists in doing something novel. The 48-year-old "Piku" star, calling 1990s a bad time for films, said things have improved for creativity in Bollywood. From "Life in A Metro" and "Dil Kabaddi" to "Paan Singh Tomar" and "The Lunchbox", the actor is known for bringing something new to the table with every film.

When asked for his preference in roles, Irrfan said, "It is a never ending thing. No actor can encompass the whole life in his career as there are so many aspects of life. This is just the beginning." A well know Indian name in Hollywood, Irrfan will be seen next in Meghna Gulzar's "Talvar", Sanjay Gupta's "Jazbaa" with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and American thriller "Inferno", directed by Ron Howard.
