Aishwarya to get 10 crore for Raat Aur Din

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is all set to star in a remake of Raat Aur Din, a 1967 movie starring Nargis Dutt. This movie was one of the first few films based on multiple personality disorder, and her portrayal of the submissive Varuna and hedonistic Penny won the late actress multiple National Awards for Best Actress. This film requires extensive preparation because firstly, this is a remake and secondly, Aish will be playing a double role. News says that she is all set to step into Nargis's shoes and give us something extraordinary. For this movie she is going to get 10 crore rupee. To be honest, this is nothing close to what Indian male superstars get per movie, but this is certainly a positive step to combat the wage gap issue women deal in Bollywood.
