Shahtaj
Shahtaj Monira Hashem first came into the limelight with the telefilm 'Masti Unlimited'. She is currently both a model and actress. She has acted in a number of TVCs of brands like Banglalink, Close Up and many telefilms. She has also starred in the music videos 'Sudhu Tomar Jonno' by Dhruba and 'Anmone' by Shayan.
Skin Care
Shahtaj is a strong believer of using natural products. Thus, for her skin care regime, she tries to use as many natural products as possible. She often makes many DIY face masks and scrubs using everyday kitchen products like egg, sugar, lemon, honey, etc. She is also an avid fan of sheet masks. Once she is home from shooting, she cleanses her skin well with The Body Shop Seaweed Deep Cleansing Gel Wash after she has finished removing her makeup with coconut oil. After her skin is completely clean of all impurities, she tries to use a different sheet mask everyday to keep her skin healthy. Finally, before going to bed, she applies a little amount of coconut oil on her skin to keep it moisturized all night long.
Hair Care
The secret to Shahtaj's long beautiful hair is daily application of coconut oil. Everyday before showering, she makes sure to apply coconut oil to her hair to moisturize it. She also occasionally applies egg, yogurt, banana and onions to keep her hair strong, soft and silky.
Make-up
For her everyday look, Shahtaj prefers very little makeup. She applies a little bit of NARS Concealer to hide her blemishes and applies some Essence I Love Extreme Crazy Volume Mascara make her eyes look bigger. She also applies a slight amount of highlighter. Shahtaj loves highlighters and has highlighters of Urban Decay, Balm, Anastasia Beverly Hills and Sleek in her collection. Finally she applies a little bit of matte liquid lip colour to complete her look. When going to a party, Shahtaj adds Chanel Luminous Foundation to create a heavy base and also fills in her eyebrows for a sharper look.
Regular Wear
Shahtaj prefers comfort over style when it comes to everyday dressing. She usually goes with jeans, t-shirt and a loose sweatshirt and completes the look with converse.
Party Wear
When going to a more traditional event, she likes to dress traditionally as well. She prefers sarees and kameez for weddings and dawaats. However, when going to a party with friends or colleagues, she usually wears jeans with a crop top, off-shoulder top or a formal t-shirt and blazer.
