Popy started her career in showbiz in 1995. Soon she became one of the top actresses of the country and has acted in over 200 films till date. She has also won three National Awards for Best Actress.
Skin care
Being one of the leading actresses in the country, Popy has a very hectic schedule, thus she has to wear makeup almost every day all day. One of the most important steps in her skin care regime is to make sure that she cleans her skin really well. After a day of shooting, she comes back home and uses the Clinique Redness Solutions Soothing Cleanser to remove her makeup. Popy has very sensitive skin and because her skin barely gets a chance to breathe all day due to the heavy layer of makeup, she prefers to not apply any other products at night. In the morning, after washing her face with the cleanser, she sometimes applies the Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion to moisturize her skin. Then she applies a serum to help keep her skin nourished and at the same time allowing the makeup to set properly.
Hair care
Popy makes sure to wash her hair with Pantene Shampoo and conditioner everyday to remove all residues of any styling product she has to use. Popy has to style her hair using heat regularly as a result of which her hair gets damaged. So she makes sure to apply organic coconut oil every night before going to bed and washes it off in the morning with shampoo.
Make-up
When going out, Popy prefers to wear very minimal makeup. She usually just applies a little of face powder, kajal, mascara and lipstick. She is an avid fan of the brand Clinique and due to the nature of her sensitive skin prefers to stick to this brand only. She likes the Clinique High Impact Custom Black Kajal and Clinique High Impact Mascara. When it comes to lipsticks, her favourite brand is MAC. She loves to wear nude shades like Velvet Teddy, Mehr, Taupe, etc.
Regular Wear
For running errands, Popy prefers to keep things casual and comfortable. She likes to wear jeans paired with shirts or t-shirts. She completes the look with a pair of comfortable flats like ballet shoes or flip-flops and a stylish bag matched with her dress.
Party Wear
Popy loves to wear sarees and her favourite type is a simple chiffon saree. However, as it can be quite difficult to manage sarees, she doesn't get the opportunity to wear them frequently. Depending on the type of party, she also wears gowns, skirts or jeans with tops
