Femme Fabulous - Purnima
Purnima started her career in 2007 with the film 'E Jibon Tomar Amar'. Soon she became one of the most famous and successful actresses of Bangladesh and acted in numerous commercially and critically acclaimed films. She has also won a National Award for Best Actress.
Skincare
Purnima starts her skincare regime by removing all traces of makeup using makeup wipes and olive oil. She starts with her cheeks and then removes makeup one area after another. She leaves her eyes for the last because it is usually the eyes that contain the most amount of makeup and thus needs a more rigorous cleaning. Once her skin is completely clean of all makeup, she rubs ice cubes on her face to help calm her skin down. After a while, she a uses the Bioderma Purifying Cleansing Foaming Gel to further cleanse her skin. Finally, she applies the Aveeno Positively Radiant Intensively Night Cream and goes to sleep. In the morning, Purnima uses the same face wash and applies Bioderma Photoderm Max 50+ SPF before going out. Purnima believes it is very important to apply sunscreen even when one doesn't directly go out in the sun, because it helps reduce premature skin aging and prevents wrinkles at the same time. She also gets a facial from the parlor once a month.
Haircare
Because she has to regularly use styling products that use very high heat, her hair gets damaged a lot. Apart from that, she also has to regularly apply hair sprays and many other styling mousses and serums which cause hair fall and lead to hair breakage. Thus, in order to keep her hair healthy and nourished, on the days, she uses any such product. She makes sure to apply coconut oil at night before going to sleep. This helps her hair retain and gain the lost nourishment. She also gets a protein treatment and hair spa done from the parlour to prevent hair fall and keep her hair smooth and shiny.
Makeup
When going out, Purnima prefers to keep her makeup very light. She applies a little bit of the Kryolan Ultra Fluid Foundation and then applies a little bit of face powder to set the makeup. She fills in her eyebrows using the Nyx Micro Brow Pencil and applies a lipstick in a very light to nude shade. She prefers lip colors from The Balm. For her eyes, she likes to apply the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara to make her eyes seem bigger. When going out to a dawaat, she makes the base a bit heavier and also contours her face more prominently to accentuate her best features. She also likes to add fake lashes to her eyes to look more gorgeous.
Regular Wear
When going out to run errands, Purnima likes to be comfortable and thus wears leggings with kurtis or long shirts. She also likes to pair denim with fatuas or shirts.
Party Wear
When it comes to parties, Purnima likes to wear heavily embellished salwar kameez as she feels the most comfortable in them. She also likes to wear gorgette and moslin sarees occasionally.
