Chirkutt goes all out to Celebrating Life

Tis the month of December and as always, Celebrating Life is at its busiest. This year, our aim is to reach the youth, the future leaders of the world. To live up to that aim, this year's festivals are all going to be held in Universities, to immerse the youth with culture. 

Last week, we discussed the show that was held at Jahangirnagar, and this week, we talk about the District Festival Concerts held in Sylhet's Shahjalal University of Science & Technology (SUST) and Comilla University. The headliner for these two concerts was Chirkutt. 

The event at SUST was held at its Basketball court. As is the norm with Celebrating Life events, the place was jam packed with people clamouring to see the show, and don't think it was just students. It seemed the whole of Sylhet ground to a halt to see the show as there were people from all ages and all walks of life! The same thing happened in Comilla as well. That event was held in the University's playing fields and that was also jam packed with the same variety of audiences. Seems everyone was dying to see the performance.

Speaking of the performance, Chirkutt put up one heck of a show for everyone attending. We knew Chirkutt had a good reach but we had absolutely no idea how popular they really were until we saw them in the District Festival Concerts. The talent, the enthusiasm, and the dedication with which they performed on stage were absolutely electrifying. What was even more stunning was the fact that it wasn't just the youth who were swept away by the performance. We were all splendidly surprised when professors from Comilla University were not only singing along with the songs, but also making requests for specific songs from their portfolio. 

Just like the fantastic performances in Jahangirnagar and Shadhona, we are thankful to Chirkutt for their stellar performance and we hope that Celebrating Life and Chirkutt can collaborate once more in the coming future.
