Sohana Saba's Controversial Role in Shororipu

Sohana Saba's latest movie "Shororipu" received positive response from audiences and critics. Her performance has been praised by most critics in Kolkata. However, there have been some controversies over Saba's explicit acting in the movie. 

Shororipu is the first noir film in Bengali, capturing the six natural instincts that overcome a normal human being in particular circumstances, according to director Ayon Chakroborty. Film noir is a movie that explores dark stories using murky lighting and shadows to express the complex moral nature of the subject.

Being the first noir film in Bengali it has stirred some controversy over its dark and graphic nature. This is Saba's first film that has been released across the border. She is popular for her acting in Bangladeshi TV and   movies.
