Shikari - Tops in Eid Release

Shakib Khan's "Shikari" is performing exceptionally well at the box office. The joint venture film between Bangladesh and India is doing good business and is currently at the top among Eid releases. "Badsha- The Don", starring Jeetandra Madnani of India and Nusrat Faria from Bangladesh, comes second right after "Shikari".

The budget of "Shikari" was approximately Tk 4.05 crore and that of "Badsha" was Tk 6 crore. "Shikari", co-starring Srabanti Chatterjee, has managed to earn Tk 1.5 crore on the first two days at the box office. "Badsha- The Don" has earned Tk 40 lakh on its first two days at the box office.

Shakib also starred in two other movies this Eid- "Mental" and "The Samraat" that earned Tk 1.87 crore and Tk 59 lakh respectively in the box office.
