Sharmila Tagore Dazzles Dhaka!

"Dhaka is a very favorite city of mine," deafening applause showered the arena as soon as those words were uttered. It was none other than Sharmila Tagore gracing the stage of the special event celebrating the 21st birthday of the channel ATN Bangla. Aptly named, "Sharmila Togore-Jeet Gannguli Live in Dhaka" also featured the prominent music composer Jeet Gannguli, who performed famous songs of both Bangla and Hindi movies, alongside Doyel Goswami. The event was held at the Bashundhara Convention Center and had attendants who more than welcomed the legendary personalities to Bangladesh. "There is no limitation to being an artist," said Sharmila Tagore, "More of our singers should come here. More singers from here should come to us. Joint venture programs should attempt more successful events." The legendary Indian actress also stated, "There should never be any limitations between the borders of these two countries. We should aim to deepen our relationship further."
