Victory yet again

The biennial general election of Bangladesh Film Directors' Association has once more taken place, with Mushfiqur Rahman Gulzar retaining the office of president for a second time running with a grand total of 183 votes. The new Secretary General is Badiul Alam Khokon, who received 157 votes, with Montazur Rahman Akbar, elected as the Vice President and director Shahin Shumon, elected as the Deputy Secretary. This year's election consisted of 362 voters, with a total of 319 votes casted, of which 19 were invalid. The 2017/18 elections saw the Gulzar- Khokon panel prevail previously.
