Shongshoptok back on air after 30 years

Bangladesh Television has decided to once again air the popular television drama Shongshoptok to provide people with entertainment during quarantine. The drama, which was created by Imdadul Haq Milan, was based on the novel written by Shahidullah Kaiser. It was directed by Abdullah Al Mamun, Al Mansur and Mohammad Abu Taher. Since the 6th of April, Kothao Keu Nei and Bohubrihi are being broadcasted at 8:30 and 9 pm on BTV. Shongshoptok has been scheduled to be aired right after those. The drama stars the likes of Ferdousi Mazumder, Humayun Faridee and Raisul Islam Asad, among many others. Shongshoptok is being aired on BTV once again after almost thirty years.
