Shafqat Amanat Ali to perform at the 4th Folk Fest

One of South Asia's revered music icons, Shafqat Amanat Ali Khan will perform at the Dhaka International Folk Fest. Like every year, the Dhaka International Folk Fest will be organized at Army Stadium from 15-17 November 2018, where folk artists from all over the world will perform. This year the added glamour will be the performance of Shafqat Amanat Ali Khan. Apart from him, 174 renowned folk musicians from 7 countries including Bangladesh will grace the stage. Some of the notable folk music artistes to be performing at the fest include Momtaz Begum, Baul Abdul Hai Dewan, Baul Kabir Shah, and Nakshi Katha. Wadali Brothers, Raghu Dixit from India will perform at the fest. Majaz from Bahrain, Grammy award winner Los Texmaniacs from USA, Dikanda from Poland and Las Migas from Spain will also perform at the folk fest.
