Meenalaap Wins Another Award

The Suborna Senjutee Tushee directed short film Meenalaap has won the Critics Award at the 8th DIDOR International Film Festival at Dushanbe, Tajikistan. Previously, the film had won the Grand Prix Award in the short film category at the 14th Eurasia International Film Festival. The film, which was premiered last July in Kazakhstan, was also screened in Kerala, India. It was also shown at the Italy Film Festival in Rome. Meenalaap is a film about a working couple from West Bengal who shift to Pune. The story revolves around their life, and includes major moments like the birth of their first child.
