Bangladesh National Film Award winning actor Ilias Kanchan has recently expressed his optimism about the future of our cinema industry. While speaking as the special guest at the inauguration ceremony of a production company, Cinebaaz, the Dhaliwood veteran said, "No one can love the masses as we, the showbiz people, do, because we love the people the way they love us. Hopefully the industry is turning around, and soon the prevalent darkness will be overpowered by the light of our successes." On acting front, Kanchan was last seen in the Iftekhar Chowdhury directed film Bijli. Apart from his acting pursuits, Kanchan is busy these days creating road safety awareness through the organization Nirapad Sarak Chai.
