Elita Karim Receives BACHSAS Award

Marking its 50th year, the 39th installment of Bangladesh Cholochitra Sangbadik Samity (BACHSAS) Awards was held recently at the Bangladesh Film Archive Bhaban auditorium. Besides the award ceremony, the star-studded celebration had enthralling cultural performances. The BACHSAS awards were handed over to the eminent personalities of the film fraternity for the years 2014 till 2018. Popular singer, Elita Karim received her first BACHSAS award in the Best Singer category for 2015. She got the award for her song in the movie, Padma Patar Jol, which was tuned by Ahmed Imtiaz Bulbul, and the music was done by Adit. The award was presented to the singer by the Information Minister, Dr Hasan Mahmud, and actor, Rozina.
