In Remembrance of Ali Akbar Rupu

Bangladesh's music industry suffered a great loss with the demise of Ali Akbar Rupu due to prolonged illness on 22nd February. Having worked as the Chief Music Director for BanglaVision, he was known for his humility, kindness and passion for music. During the peak of his career, he worked with various artists including the likes of Kanak Chapa and Kumar Biswajit and churned out hits including Jare Ghor Dila Shongshar Dila Na and Ekdin Kannar Rol Uthbe Amar Barite. He also composed music for the iconic show Ittadi. Star Showbiz extends its deepest condolences to the family of the departed soul.
