Sensational TV actor Mumtaheena Toya makes her big screen debut with Bengali Beauty, a film directed by Rahsaan Noor. The film has been released on July 20. Here the TV diva plays the role of a medical student, a character enwrapped in the nostalgic sepia of the '70s. "I had to work hard for five consecutive months. Four of which were spent on rehearsals, and one for shooting. It took us a long time to get the censor board clearance, hence there was an unexpected delay in the release. But now we are really elated, and highly optimistic about the movie," the actor said. With hopes of commercial success, Bengali Beauty is currently running in Shyamoli Cineplex, Star Cineplex and Blockbuster Cinemas.
