Bangladeshi jury member at the Berlin International Film Festival 2018

Noted Bangladeshi film critic, President of the Rainbow Film Society and the Director of the Dhaka International Film Festival, Ahmed Muztaba Zamal, is going attend the forthcoming 68th Berlin Film Festival (Berlinale) as a FIPRESCI jury member. This is the third time he is assuming the role of a jury member at the festival. 

Over the years, Zamal has attended many noteworthy film festivals like Cannes, Berlinale, and Venice as International, FIPRESCI and Netpac (Network for the Promotion of Asian Cinema) jury. Zamal attended the Berlinale for the first time in 1998 as a FIPRESCI jury member. That year, his jury took a brave decision of promoting upcoming directors by awarding them instead of giving all the awards to one flawless film. The 68th Berlin International Film Festival will take place from February 15-25, 2018.
