Apu waits for Shakib’s call with delight

Bangla film actress Apu Biswas today said she is still waiting for Shakib Khan to call her, adding she is happy that he would eventually return to her.

“I’m still waiting for him to call me, but I’m happy that he is coming back,” Apu told The Daily Star over phone.

The popular Dhallywood actress seemed happy and excited following a tense day when she yesterday revealed in an exclusive live interview with a television channel that she married Shakib and they have a son.

Their wedding took place at Shakib's Gulshan house in Dhaka, Apu said, adding that their son, Abraham Khan Joy, was born at a clinic in Kolkata on September 27, 2016.

In a reaction to Apu’s disclosure of their relationship to the media, Shakib, the highest-paid Dhallywood actor, yesterday acknowledged the son to be his own but refused to accept Apu saying she was conspiring to destroy his career.

However, the ice seemed to have melted and the prospect of Shakib Khan getting back together with his wife Apu Biswas surfaced from what the top Dhallywood actor said today.

Shakib is scheduled to meet his wife Apu and son Abraham Khan Joy this afternoon.
