THE GOOD NETIZEN

Acknowledge Your Twitter Followers

Assuming that you don't have a lot of followers, whenever someone "follows" you on Twitter, it is customary that you follow them back. This is no writ to abide by, but a good practice nonetheless. That's because when someone follows you and you don't follow them back, they might get offended and unfollow you. However, this doesn't apply if you have privacy concerns, in which case you can block particular users.

Reply to your followers' tweets every now and then, and they'll return the favour.
